Sweet Dreams Rental Policy

We offer complimentary delivery and pickup with a minimum purchase of $50.00 to
North Topsail Beach, Surf City, and Topsail Beach!

Customer Pickup: Customer pickup is also available if you don't meet our minimum order or prefer to see the item(s) first. Customer Pickup is available at our business location (51 JH Batts Road ) on the Surf City Mainland by calling ahead (910-328-5312).

Cancellations: Cancellations must be made more than 2 weeks in advance of the scheduled delivery date in order to receive a refund. Qualifying refunds are subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. Qualifying refunds are the total amount of your order (pre-tax) minus the $25.00 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be confirmed in writing.

Delivery: All items rented by Guests are delivered to the exterior of your rental unit by 6:00 p.m. on check-in day. You do not need to be present for delivery or pick up. Most rental items will be delivered to the front (street side) main entrance. We know that different people may consider different doors the “main entrance” on multi-level beach properties so be sure to check ALL doors if you’re having trouble finding your items. Some items may be left under the house or other “protected locations” during bad weather. Grills will always be left under or beside the house as it is against many local ordinances to have grills on the decks. During the busiest seasons and on days that we’ve encountered inclement weather, unforeseen circumstances (and traffic) may delay deliveries. We appreciate your understanding during these times. Please be sure to verify your delivery address when placing your order. “Re-Delivery” due to a faulty address will result in a $35 re-delivery fee for additional fuel and labor. Giving us both the property address and property’s name at the time of the order can help prevent problems.

Linen Packaging: Our linens are delivered in weather resistant plastic totes and are labeled on all four sides and the secure lid with instructions and our logos. All of our bedding sets are color coded by size and safely wrapped in plastic to protect them. Our towel sets are wrapped in plastic for the same reasons. Please do not leave the delivery totes outside once you arrive or after removing the contents as they may blow away, become damaged, or get stolen and the renter will be responsible for their replacement expenses.

Pickup: Upon check-out rental items and linens should left where they were found for pickup on the day of departure by no later than 10:00 am. Please be sure all linens are returned to the totes and left outside with the lids securely fastened. Please do not place the property’s items in our totes as the property owner, and next guests, will not be pleased. Examples include: pillows, mattress pads, blankets, comforters, remote controls, etc. Please ensure that all rental items are left outside unless you have made other arrangements with us. We do NOT have access to the inside of most of the properties and often times by the time we can get into a property; our items are “missing” in which case the renter will be responsible for replacement expenses.

Early Departures: If you find yourself checking out earlier than planned, please call us and we will arrange an pickup at no charge to you. If the items are left out for an extended period they may blow away, become damaged due to weather, or go missing completely.

Care of Items in your possession: Please follow the instructions for each item as available on our website and/or as attached to the rental items. Please use caution in order to avoid being responsible for replacement expenses.

Examples include: All beach items should be washed with fresh water after each use and before returning as to remove all corrosive salt and sand from the items. Most properties have hose available either on the beach access or under/beside the house.

Grills should be cleaned and ashes properly disposed of. Most items that you sit on, lay on, or otherwise subject to bodyweight (beach chairs, loungers, cribs, massage tables, etc.) are rated for a maximum weight. This weight limit is listed on the items and/or on our website and must be adhered to avoid damage.

Beach Umbrellas should be not be used during periods of high winds or gusting winds (15 mph or greater in either case). This is a safety issue first and foremost, we have personally seen many children and adults sustain serious injuries from beach umbrellas, beach tents & canopies, etc. that have gone airborne during high winds. We always know when a beach umbrella was damaged due to renter neglect as we watch the weather carefully ourselves. If washing our linens yourself: Do NOT use bleach on any item. Do not wash with colored beach towels or swim wear.

Local Ordinances: Grills are not permitted on decks or porches, nor should they be used under any type of roof or under the house/property. They should always be used on ground level. Most condo complexes do not permit grills other than the grills that may or may not be provided by the complex itself.

No items can be left on the beach overnight due to local regulations.
They may be confiscated by the local authorities or stolen; and the renter will be responsible for replacement expenses.

We are very pet friendly, but know that pets must be on leashes at all times, especially on the beach.

Replacements: Please inspect all items when you arrive, or when they are delivered and call us right away if something is broken, faulty, or missing; we’ll replace it; subject to availability, or refund it. We’ve done a very thorough job of inspecting every item before delivery as well. Items reported broken more than 24 hours after check-in will likely result in replacement expenses being the responsibility of the renter.

Exchanges: Exchanges for different items may be considered under the following circumstances. The item being exchanged is not damaged. The desired item is in stock and available. The renter may need to schedule a customer pickup at our physical location to arrange the exchange during our working hours.

Renter/Guest Responsibilities: Sweet Dreams Linens, Inc. will not be held liable in the event of injury or accidental death due to improper use or malfunction of rental items. Renter assumes all responsibility for equipment when out of the possession of Sweet Dreams Linens, Inc. and guarantees to return such items to Sweet Dreams Linens, Inc. in similar condition as it was received by the renter, natural wear and tear are expected. Renter is liable for any loss, theft, damage or destruction of rented items. All items lost or damaged will be charged to the renter for Sweet Dreams Linens, Inc. replacement expenses for costs and labor to replace.

We strongly recommend ordering in advance to ensure availability during the summer months. However last minute orders are welcomed year round. We will do our best to make same day deliveries however all deliveries are guaranteed to be no later than by the end of the next day (24 hours).
